Bristol singers, rappers & MCs wanted for Next Level artist development scheme
News: 16th March 2022 by Louise Dodgson under Live, Media, Music Training & Careers, Recording & Production

NEXT LEVEL is an artist development scheme supporting singers, rappers and MCs, aged 18-25 years and based in Bristol.
Co-produced with BIG TEAM and Bristol Beacon, and partnered with some of Bristol’s biggest names in music – Love Saves The Day, Pirate Studios, CRACK Magazine and SWU FM - the scheme supports young talent in the city to gain a-week long studio experience and the potential opportunity to perform live at Love Saves The Day.
With only limited spaces, successful applicants will take part in a week of workshops at Pirate Studios with professional producers and vocalists including Sam Interface, N.Y.T.A, Fiyahdred, Eva Lazarus, Dread MC and Res One. During the studio sessions there will be the chance for artists to present demos, write new material, collaborate through co-writing and rehearse.
Artists in the process will get the chance to showcase in front of a live audience and industry panel at the Bristol Beacon, alongside a secret headliner and special guest.
This will be followed up by a workshop with CRACK Magazine to develop their music media understanding before doing guest appearances on radio slots broadcast live on air at SWU FM.
As if that wasn’t already enough, should artists have proven themselves to be ready to progress, they will be offered a performance slot at Love Saves The Day Festival 2022.
This project has been specially designed to help excel emerging artists’ creative development and connection to the music industry by placing them into professional environments which builds confidence and enhances their writing, recording, performance and promotional skills.
