UK music collection society PRS For Music signed their first agreement with YouTube back in 2007 for the benefit of their many music publisher, songwriters and composer members, making them one of the first royalty collection societies outside the US to license to YouTube. This week, their deal has been renewed and now reaches more than 130 global territories helping to drive music from their members via the video platform and allowing members to earn royalties from online streaming.
