House Of Lords not keen to cut off filesharers

Guardian writer Helienne Lindvall went to pay Lord Lucas at the House Of Lords a visit, and it seems his views on cutting off internet access of repeat filesharers was less than supportive. On his agenda is copyright reform and he suggests that labels need to forge agreements with ISPs in order to move forward. He claims that the bottom line of disconnecting filesharers will only serve to 'alienate voters and punish individuals' which is, quite rightly, the last thing the House Of Lords wants.
