Live music royalties under the spotlight

Royalty collection society PRS For Music have decided to review the percentage of ticket revenue that live music promoters pay to songwriters and artists. This could see gig and festival organisers putting their hands a bit deeper into their pockets and giving artists a bigger share, as the rate paid in the UK is currently lower than other European royalties.
