It’s been 4 years since we first launched our Spotlight blog as a way to champion the wonderful music of our talented members. Over the past 4 years we’ve had the pleasure of featuring loads of fantastic bands and artists, many who have gone onto pretty special things.
And next in the ongoing story of Spotlight, we’re over the moon to announce that we’ll now be hosting a monthly radio show on Amazing Radio to celebrate our chosen Spotlight artists, past and present, even further.
Our hour long show will be broadcast at 9pm on the second Monday of every month. We’ll be bringing you all 5 tracks featured on our current Spotlight blog, plus be the first to hear fresh releases from past Spotlight acts and we’ll also dig through the crates for a selection of the finest songs that have graced Spotlight over the years.
As well as being featured on our monthly Amazing Radio show, bands and artists selected for our Spotlight blog are also shouted about in other ways. We send a mailout to our 19,000 strong mailing list to spread the word about the current Spotlight picks. We also have a select bunch of 40+ music industry professionals, ranging from managers, gig promoters, PR companies and labels to tastemaker blogs, radio stations and music publishers, who are all personally sent our Spotlight tracks every month and who guarantee to listen! How do I get featured on the Spotlight blog?
Our Spotlight blog is compiled every month from fresh new music submitted to us by our members. We want to hear from you! We select 5 of the best tracks from our members, so if you want to be in the running you’ll need to sign up to The Unsigned Guide then follow the instructions in your Welcome email to submit a track for Spotlight consideration to us. If you’re already a member and still not sure about how to submit your music for Spotlight, just give us a shout via our Contact page & we’ll help you out!
