Radar acts as music video middleman
News: 12th May 2010 by Louise Dodgson under Creative & Branding

A music video can act as a great bit of eye-catching exposure, but where do you even start with finding the right contacts to make one? Radar has been operating in beta stages for a while now, but finally announces its official launch this week. The idea behind the service is to bring together record labels, bands and artists with the realm of music videos including directors and producers to offer reasonably priced solutions to getting a music video commissioned.
Often an area which many unsigned bands choose to side-step until they have financial backing of some kind, the music video has always seemed to be an expensive form of promotion which emerging artists just cannot stretch to. Hopefully, this will develop into a great platform for bands and independent record labels alike to get in touch with some more affordable services, as well as bringing work to aspiring music video directors.
