Music festivals join forces

It is becoming quite a common occurrence for independent festivals to join forces in order to keep ahead in a highly competitive market. And now the first in a series of UK festivals, Summer Sundae based in Leicester, has paired up with an overseas counterpart, Bergenfest in Norway.
The initiative to twin festivals was dreamt up by the Association of Independent Festivals and will not only encourage fresh audiences, but allow festivals to pool their resources to aid with promotion and share ideas.
