QH Sound and BBC South East join forces to showcase emerging acts from Kent, Surrey & Sussex

News: 14th August 2024 by Louise Dodgson under Media

BBC South East have teamed up with QH Sound to invite musicians from the 'Unsigned' compilation CDs for interview and live performance in BBC Studio at Tunbridge Wells. The show titled 'In Session' hosted by Stephen Brown is broadcast across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Oxford, Berkshire and Solent every Tuesday evening between 8pm and 9pm.

QH Sound has built its reputation by identifying talented and undiscovered musicians and providing them a platform to showcase their work to new audiences. Their ‘Unsigned’ compilation albums feature a curated collection of songs from independent artists across a range of genres.

Now, through a new collaboration with BBC South East, select artists from the ‘Unsigned’ albums will be invited to perform live and be interviewed on the ‘In Session’ radio show.

“We're thrilled to partner with BBC South East to provide this opportunity for emerging artists to share their music with a wider audience,” said Quadri, Creative Director at QH Sound. “Giving independent musicians a voice and platform to build their careers has been our mission from the beginning. This collaboration is an exciting step towards achieving that goal and helping undiscovered talent reach new heights.”

The BBC's reach across the South East makes 'In Session' a valuable opportunity for artists to promote their music to a wide audience, gain valuable experience and exposure while listeners are introduced to fresh musical talent. It's a win-win collaboration that enriches 'Unsigned' musicians and the cultural life of the South East.

If you are an unsigned artist from Kent, Surrey, Sussex or surrounding areas, you can submit your music to QH Sound for future 'Unsigned' compilation albums via the link below. Being featured could lead to many opportunities including your spot on BBC 'In Session' - giving you a boost to help take your music to the next level.

QH Sound is a music company dedicated to discovering and promoting emerging artists and bands. They provide opportunities for unsigned artists through their compilation albums, music blog, and artist development program. QH Sound aims to highlight new talent, support creativity, and help emerging acts reach new audience and industry professional.
