News: 13th December 2023 by Louise Dodgson under Record Labels, Selling & Distributing Your Music

IFPI's latest Engaging With Music Report examines how people, across 26 countries worldwide, prefer to listen to music.

One of the main takeaways from the research is the finding that music listening is at an all time high - an increase of 20.7 hours per week spent listening to music. Unfortunately, 29% of those involved in the study still access this music via unlicensed services, indicating that piracy is still a significant concern.
