North East artists can apply for First Notes programme

Generator and Youth Music have teamed to offer their 6 month First Notes programme, which aims to enable artists aged 18-25 to professionalise their craft and develop their original music. Eligible artists must have a home address in Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, Sunderland or Tees Valley.
During the programme, artists will be working with professional producers in renowned recording studios including Blank Studios , Green Dragon Studios and Harbourmaster Productions, and they'll also benefit from 1:1 mentoring from industry experts about single release campaign strategy, distribution and help to develop their artist identity.
