Sage Gateshead has again opened its programme to find 2 original artists based in the North East or Cumbria to become their artists in residence.

If you need time, space and money to work on your music project, then this opportunity that will provide 10 months of support including a grant of £4,000 towards your time, £750 to buy equipment, a residential retreat to work on your project away from distractions, access to the rehearsal spaces at Sage Gateshead, a performance at Sage to showcase the project at the end of the residency in June 2024, plus guidance, artist development and wellbeing support.
