SoundCloud launches tool for artists to identify biggest fans and direct message them

Available now on SoundCloud for Artists, the platform's latest development called 'Fans' will allow artists and bands to identify their most loyal fans and message them directly to let them know about gig tickets, upcoming releases, merchandise and more.
Determined via listening behaviour, comments, sharing and location, SoundCloud's direct to fan communication tool is the first of its kind, which will allow music-makers to build a dedicated fanbase and access their fans in a meaningful way; an option that is not currently available through any other streaming services.
