Apply to play Lechlade Festival

News: 18th August 2022 by Louise Dodgson under Live

Lechlade Festival in the Cotswolds has opened applications to perform at their 11th music festival, taking place next May.

The multi award-winning, family-friendly festival will take place at The Riverside Park, alongside the River Thames from 26th to 28th May 2023, over the bank holiday weekend. Boasting 3 music stages, a cabaret and comedy stage and over 100 acts on the line-up, the festival attracts performers and audiences from the UK and Europe.

Festival Director Jennie Turner-Maskell is particularly looking for unusual and diverse acts to bring plenty of variety to the 2023 line-up.

‘We are excited to see the applications coming in already for next year, we particularly love to support unsigned acts and young performers and encourage them to apply. We’re keen to broaden the genres of acts and are looking for original music with diverse flavours. We generally see around 1,000 acts applying and spend the next 5-6 months listening to every single application, then honing down the selection to create a fantastic 3-day programme. Performers are invited to stay and enjoy a great weekend of live music.’
