Closing soon! BAFTA nominated crime drama app, Dead Man’s Phone, looking for unsigned artists to feature in forthcoming shows

Calling all unsigned artists! An opportunity to have your music featured in the BAFTA nominated crime drama, Dead Man's Phone.
Dead Man's Phone is a new interactive crime drama, where you play the lead detective and solve murders with smartphone of the victims. It immerses the player as the lead character in high quality Netflix-esque dramas by simulating the interactive world of smartphones and apps.
With the release of 3 new seasons of Dead Man's Phone later this year, they are looking to feature some of the best up and coming, unsigned artists in the UK to be the soundtrack to the experience.
Co-Founder and part-time musician Ben Tatham said, “Our new medium of storytelling, phone-first dramas, is a great opportunity for artists to reach a whole new audience in the mobile gaming space, on a global scale. We’re committed to championing unsigned artists who otherwise would struggle to get their music into games.”
Dead Man’s Phone has been making waves since launching Season 1 last spring. Nominated for a BAFTA alongside Pokémon Go and Call of Duty for mobile game of the year, it currently has 600k+ downloads across the globe, with America being it's main audience. The new seasons will air in September this year.
Applications are now open and the deadline for entries is April 6th.
To apply, just send your Spotify or SoundCloud links of all genres and styles, with any promotional materials (photos, album/EP artwork, blurb) to [email protected].
The directors on the seasons will then select their favourite tracks and will reach out to those artists who have been chosen with next steps.
