Closing soon! Manchester Jazz Festival looking for acts for their Hothouse and Soundcheck initiatives

Manchester Jazz Festival has opened applications for its mjf hothouse and mjf soundcheck programmes, created to develop and nurture emerging talent.

mjf hothouse is a 6 month programmes aimed at 
Northern-based musician working in improvisation and jazz, allowing them to learn, experiment and create new work.

mjf soundcheck is for Greater Manchester based musicians aged 18-25 who want space to try out new things and be supported to grow creatively. The 8 week programme culminates in artists showcasing a short new piece of music that reflects their learning.
