To mark Mental Health Awareness Week last week, some new resources created specifically for musicians and those working in the music industry have been unveiled.

With research showing that musicians are 3 times more likely to suffer from depression, with factors such as insecure income, pressure from fans and labels, poor diet, lack of sleep and access to alcohol and drugs all taking their toll.

Mind have launched a series of guides which are aimed at musicians themselves, artist managers, organisations, freelancers and employees.

Coinciding with this is a resource from Music Managers Forum which covers topics such as stress management, imposter syndrome, alcohol and drug addiction, and anxiety and depression, amongst others.
