News: 22nd January 2021 by Stef Loukes under Live
Sad news as yet another Glastonbury is pulled due to Coronavirus! However, this also raises the question of whether there is hope for any music festivals taking place over this summer, and UK Music chief Jamie Njoku-Goodwin has requested that the government promptly address the support they can provide to the live music sector.
Thousands of jobs will be impacted if live music does not return during 2021and Jamie states "“It is absolutely critical that the Government look at more financial support for the music industry and those who work in it as a matter of urgency. Without more Government help, there is a real risk that some of our world-leading music scene will disappear forever."
