UK Music unveils 'Let the Music Play: Save Our Summer 2021' report outlining a plan to get live music back on track

This week UK Music released a report entitled 'Let The Music Play: Save Our Summer 2021' which sets out the economic, social and cultural value of live music, along with a blueprint for reviving the live music sector. The report is free to view, so why not take a look yourself via the link below.

According to statistics from the Association of Independent Festivals, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a 90.2% drop in revenue for festivals in 2020, and with this brings fears of redundancies of up to 50% in the workforce. Shocking figures! As a result, the government is being called upon to introduce a Covid cancellation insurance scheme to protect festivals and live music events.
