Music Venue Trust distributes £230,000 to gig venues who slipped through the net of government funding

The Music Venue Trust has distributed money raised from their campaign launched in October to support UK grassroots gig venues that risked being shut down permanently. £230,000 has been allocated amongst 24 gig venues who did not receive funding or sufficient support from the government's Cultural Recovery Fund.

CEO of Music Venue Trust, Mark Davyd, hopes the money will "stave off the immediate threat of closure and provide a firm footing for survival.” Read more via the links below...
