Ditto Music launches competition to find the UK’s next big urban artist

Global music distributor and record label services company Ditto Music has launched a new competition searching for the UK’s next big urban artist.
The Next Big Thing competition is open to all upcoming urban artists across the UK and is running in until May 31st 2020 in partnership with GRM Daily and Link Up TV.
Ditto Music will choose 20 of the best entries to shortlist on a Spotify playlist, before one winner is chosen from the shortlist by a high-profile music industry judging panel.
The Next Big Thing judging panel includes legendary MC and Godfather of Grime Wiley, grime star Big Zuu, Jaykae’s manager Despa Robinson, NSG’s manager Aidan Glennon, GRM Records A&R Manager Saquib B, Little Pink Book founder Roberta Hickey and Reprezent Radio DJ HenriVIII.
The winner will receive a series of career-launching prizes, including a £5k marketing budget, music video shoot, recording studio time at Ditto Music’s London studio, a guaranteed live performance slot, a song premiere on a leading UK channel and a track feature with a major artist.
Every artist who enters the Next Big Thing competition will also receive a 90 day free trial to release unlimited music with Ditto.
