Getting your music placed on a popular TV show can be fantastic exposure for an emerging or unsigned act, as well as bringing in some cash too!

With many channels including Sky Atlantic, Sky Sports, Sky News, Sky One, Sky Arts and Sky Kids, it's not hard to see that Sky easily uses thousands of hours of music from every possible genre.

Sky's Director of Music Services, Peter Bradbury, has provided some advice on what the station look for when placing music to their shows, the standard of recording required, and how bands and artists can secure a TV placement.
