News: 3rd August 2018 by Louise Dodgson under Live, Music Publishing

Submissions for Britten Sinfonia's annual competition, OPUS2018, are open to unpublished composers across the UK. This year the competition has a Folk theme, so the shortlisted composers will have the chance to work with James MacMillan, BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2018, Hannah Rarity, and a piano quintet from Britten Sinfonia.
The winner will earn at least 3 performances of their work in the At Lunch concert series in London, Cambridge and Norwich, as well as a professional standard recording of their piece and a commission fee.
