UK Singles Chart to start counting YouTube video plays

The Official Charts Company has decided that it will now incorporate YouTube video plays into the sales data for the UK Singles Chart.
Following the addition of music download stats in 2005 and streaming plays in 2014, this latest development to how the charts are compiled rightfully takes into account official video views, from both free to view and subscription paying customers.
