Music At The Museum calls out to musicians aged 16-25 years

News: 8th June 2018 by Louise Dodgson under Live

An utterly incredible opportunity here through Brighter Sound. If you’re 16-25 years and working towards a music career, you could be chosen to join experimental folk rock band Firefly Burning for ‘Music at the Museum’, a week-long residency of collaborative songwriting and music-making.

The lucky artist will spend 5 days from 8th-12th July writing, creating and performing new music under the artistic guidance of award-winning artists John Barber and James Redwood from the band Firefly Burning.

As well as gaining insight into the creative processes of established artists, collaborating with other musicians and developing your songwriting, arranging and performance skills, you will also perform in a super special twilight gig at Manchester Museum on Thursday 12th July. Wow!
