Academy Of Music & Sound launch free short courses for musicians in Glasgow and Edinburgh

The Academy of Music and Sound will be offering musicians free short courses in Glasgow and Edinburgh this Spring and Summer. The courses will provide hands on experience, access to industry knowledge, professional equipment and a host of other useful skills and knowledge.
On successful completion, musicians will be awarded a SQA accredited qualification and throughout the whole process, they will receive guidance and support from one of AMS’s specialist trainers.
Free courses include:
• Recording Techniques
• Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar Workshop
• Songwriting Workshop
• Drum Workshop
• Employability in the Music Industry
• Women’s Employability in the Music Industry
• Introduction to Sound Production
