Brighter Sound offer studio residency to 10 emerging musicians with Mercury Prize nominated Field Music

Brighter Sound presents a super special opportunity for 10 emerging musicians to take up a 5 day music studio residency with Mercury Prize-nominated and critically acclaimed band, Field Music.

Field Music brothers Peter and David Brewis will welcome the 10 emerging musicians and writers into their studio space in Sunderland from Monday 13th to Friday 17th November. Over the 5 days they’ll explore the process of record-making, from writing the song, through to arrangement, engineering and production.

Successful applicants will work with Field Music, pulling apart and putting back together their own unfinished songs or loose ends, to create a distinct collaborative record.
