Lynsey de Paul Prize announced offering bursaries for solo female musicians

The Lynsey de Paul Prize 2017 created by PRS Foundation and PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund have opened applications to new female solo music creators.

The prize awards development bursaries to talented new female artists and was set up in 2015 to honour the late multi-award-winning songwriter and artist Lynsey de Paul and recognise her passion for helping young women in the music industry. The winner will receive a £2,500 bursary and 3 runners-up will each receive £750. In addition, the winner and runners-up will each receive £500 of mentoring support from a music industry expert.

Submit your application by Tuesday 1 August 2017. Artists must apply by submitting a video through the link below, where further details and information on eligibility are available.
