Southampton Sampler hunts for local musicians for vinyl release

Hoghtown Studios in Southampton are currently running a vinyl project called Southampton Sampler 2017 with the aim being to create a10 track record featuring the area's best original talent. Musicians can send their best original track to be shortlisted by an independent judging panel made up of DJ and Bestival co-founder Rob da Bank, Emma from Band of Skulls, BBC Solent Introducing and saxophonist, composer and educator Dan Mar-Molinero.
