Ticketmaster to start selling gig tickets through Facebook

It has been revealed that later this month Ticketmaster will start selling gig tickets directly through Facebook. As yet we're unclear whether this will roll out in the US first or if this will also be live in the UK by the end of April, but the process is likely to make buying tickets quicker and easier, with customers not required to leave Facebook to make their purchase. Whilst Facebook will take an affiliate fee, they assure gig goers that the charges will not be passed onto them.
