Excite 2016 welcomes submissions from Highlands & Islands musicians

Collaborative project EXCITE links partner organisations in Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands and Germany, and partner festivals such as XpoNorth (Scotland), SPOT Festival (Denmark), Sørveiv Festival (Norway), Dockville Festival (Germany), Live at Heart (Sweden), Freeze Festival (the Netherlands) and PLAY Festival (Belgium).
The programme was established in 2009 with the ambition of supporting young artists to develop showcase opportunities outside their domestic markets. Bands and artists from the Highlands & Islands are welcomed to apply by Friday 29th January and successful acts will secure a range of festival opportunities across mainland Europe and Scandinavia.
