With Alison Donald (Joint MD, Columbia), Jim Chancellor (MD Fiction / Caroline International), Caroline Elleray (Head of A&R, Universal Music Publishing) already announced to talk about whether A&R is too reliant on data the themes and panels are shaping up as one of the strongest assemblies of executives taking part in a UK conference to date.

In addition, the conference’s ever popular ‘Insight Presentations’ also make a step up with independent playlist champion Sammy Andrews (Cooking Vinyl), music industry social media Guru, Darren Hemmings (Motive Unknown / The Daily Digest), ethical secondary ticketing pioneer, Richard Davies (Twickets) and the man who turned Mr Scruff into a high street brand, manager Gary McClarnan all delivering warts and all sessions on some of the toughest topics in the industry.

If that wasn’t already enough for one day Generator have announced the first of the conferences one to one Fireside Chats in the shape of Sony Music’s Vice President of Strategy Fred Bolza for an in depth look at where he feels the industry is headed over the next decade or so.

Generator and Music Futures CEO Jim Mawdsley comments ‘We have been overwhelmed with the response from all of the fantastic industry executives we have invited to present or take part in panels at Music Futures this year. There is a real appetite for discussion and debate around where we are all heading and this conference look set to lead the way. We have much more to announce but already the strength and quality of the event is certainly looking to be one that will live long in the memory.'

With even more still to be announced Music Futures is certainly shaping up as an event that just cannot be missed. Get tickets via the link below.
