Increase in music consumers listening to music legally

Recent research published by the government's Intellectual Property Office shows that there has been a 10% increase in UK music consumers through legal services since 2013. This still leaves 1 in 5 music consumers resorting to piracy and unlicensed services, but it's certainly a step in the right direction. 

A further breakdown of stats from the IPO suggests that 15.6 million UK internet users access music online, made up of 12 million streaming and 10.5 million downloading. Get to grips with more figures via the links below...
