NME to become free publication

News: 7th July 2015 by Louise Dodgson under Media

It's no secret that the print industries have struggled over the last decade and beyond in the wake of digital publications and blogs. Since 1952 NME has been a paid for weekly publication but in response to increasingly declining sales they have now announced that the magazine will available for free. The distribution of the music magazine will also be increasing to 300,000 and from September you'll be able to pick up copies in stations, shops and student unions.
