Tidal to encourage independent artists through launch of Discovery

The launch of Tidal has brought about many mixed emotions amongst the music industry and music fans and whilst Jay-Z works to smooth things over, it has been announced that a new strand of the music streaming service called Discovery will be coming soon, something which should be of more interest to emerging acts.

Tidal Discovery will allow independent artists to upload their own music directly and utilise an artist dashboard which will provide data on user listening habits, their location and even email addresses.
