Bandcamp is keeping American musicians in the money

News: 20th March 2015 by Louise Dodgson under Artist Managers, Selling & Distributing Your Music

Last year we reported that Bandcamp were making a subscription facility available (unfortunately only in the US at present) so superfans can sign up to to receive exclusive releases from their favourite artists and bands on Bandcamp. These subscriptions have already brought in $3.5m per month from fans, and with Bandcamp taking a 15% cut, the rest goes directly back to the artist in question. We thought it sounded like a fantastic idea at launch and are pleased to see it's become a roaring success...now for a UK roll out please!
