Are you passionate about supporting emerging artists? Become an Artist Development Partner and receive £5,000 from Help Musicians UK to invest in talent.
Help Musicians UK are offering organisations grants of up to £5,000 to invest in outstandingly talented solo musicians and bands. Their new network of Artist Development Partners will help them identify and support the most exciting emerging popular and alternative musicians around the UK.
You might be a venue, recording studio, festival, promoter, development agency, social enterprise or charity - if you have a proven track record of supporting and developing talent and are known and respected in the music industry, they want to hear from you.
The pilot initiative will focus on cities and regions outside London.
Help Musicians UK will offer five new partners up to £5,000 to develop musicians who are creating outstanding original music, making an impact regionally and have the potential to take their career to the next level.Funding could be used to support activities such as
• mentoring or specialist advice
• access to space or other facilities
• marketing
• live performance
• networking
• skills development
You can apply for funding to expand an existing artist development scheme or to deliver a brand new initiative. For an application form and further details, visit the link below. Deadline for submissions is Friday 21 November 2014.
