Leeds venue The Cockpit closes

After 20 years, The Cockpit gig venue in Leeds has sadly closed its doors. Developments required to the building including damp-proofing and draining works, would have caused the live music venue to be shut down temporarily for a year, but unfortunately this length of closure is not sustainable and the difficult decision of closing altogether has had to be made by owner My Oliver.
