The Worldwide Independent Network has launched the Fair Deals Digital Declaration created to encourage better communication between record labels and digital music services, as there is often confusion and a lack of consistent structure to digital deals. This declaration has already been signed and supported by over 700 independent labels globally, who are keen for deals going forward to be clearer and for better standards to be upheld.
