Funding for Welsh Music Foundation expires

News: 7th July 2014 by Louise Dodgson under Finance, Law & Music Business, Music Training & Careers

It's a real shame to hear that the Welsh Music Foundation who have worked extremely hard to support the musicians of Wales by providing training events, a music directory and representing Welsh artists overseas at events such as SXSW, has been forced to suspend operations due to their goverment funding not being awarded.

WMF's statement on the matter says "The Board of WMF remain committed and will seek new investment and partnerships to support the development of the music industry in Wales."
