Generator takeover Liverpool Sound City & The Great Escape

News: 25th April 2014 by Louise Dodgson under Artist Managers, Live, Music Training & Careers

Generator, the leading music development agency brings the UK's finest emerging artists to Liverpool Sound City and the Great Escape over the coming weeks. Their Tipping Point initiative will see them showcase talented acts including Blessa, Gallery Circus, Boy Jumps Ship, Eva Stone, Lisbon, Fe and Bridie Jackson and The Arbour.

They will also be presenting panel sessions at both conferences. On Thursday 2nd May at Liverpool Sound City there will be ‘The Rise of the Influencer' and ‘Live Music in the Digital Age' with special industry guests. The following week on Friday 9th May at Brighton's Great Escape they will present very special Artist Managers In Conversation panel featuring the best young artist managers in the UK and the BBC’s Jen Long discussing breaking artists and building careers.

Joe Frankland, Artist Development Manager at Generator says “The Great Escape is an opportunity to discover buzz artists and to link with leading music industry figures. Having established a strong North East presence at the event, last year’s Tipping Point showcase was a highlight of the year and featured the likes of Eliza and the Bear and Nadine Shah – showing off what Generator does best. This year we return with our strongest lineup yet, a panel discussion with insight from managers on the frontline of artist development, and an exclusive Tipping Point delegate compilation in partnership with Killing Moon and Key Production. Needless to say, we can’t wait!”
