New regulations in the pipeline for secondary ticketing

Secondary ticketing has long been a bugbear for the live music industry, and of course gig-goers, for a long time now but plans may be forming to regulate this area more tightly. Following a review carried out by the All-Party Parliamentary Group they will be proposing amendments that will be up for dicsussion in the House of Commons next month.

Ticketing companies such as Ticketmaster are not so happy about some of the proposed regulations which include guaranteed compensation to fans who have been mixed up in online ticketing scams. Have a look at the link below and see what changes are hoped to be put in place...
