Fan videos worth more to labels than official music videos

A little titbit of tasty and interesting news here as the Global Head of Digital at Universal Music has said that the revenue brought in from fan videos on YouTube and other platforms is regularly more than the money from official music videos by the artists themselves. Speaking to the Toronto Star, Francis Keeling told them user-generated content was a "massive growth area".
