Probably best known for being Dr Dre and Trent Reznor's foray in the music streaming world, Beats Music has made sure everyone knows they mean business by acquiring Topspin Media. Topspin is a service allowing musicians and creators to connect directly with their fans to sell music and merchandise and, as put by Beats Music's CEO Ian Rogers, the aim of the acquisition is to help "unite the world of music listeners and music creators."
