Darker Music Talks next event tackles copywriting for musicians

News: 1st November 2013 by Louise Dodgson under Artist Managers, Media, Music Training & Careers

Darker Music Talks is a series of free events in London that brings independent musicians and experienced music experts together, in a chance for a constructive dialogue. The future belongs to educated musicians/entrepreneurs (Musicpreneurs).

The next discussion in London takes place on 7th November with Jack Oughton. The aim is to help musicians gain greater exposure and make more of an impact with their music, by:

• Helping them apply some of the ideas used in copywriting, corporate communications, PR, journalism and 'persuasion engineering' to the benefit their music business.

• Giving them some insights from the other side of the fence drawn from Jack's experience as a freelance writer who covers music from time to time.

This is (hopefully) about communicating and connecting much more easily and effectively, all in the form of a number of discrete ideas that'll work separately or together.

Register for free to attend. You can find more information about the event via the link below.
