Momentum Music Fund launches

Just when you thought all the arts funding had tried up, lo and behold! A new fund created specifically to aid emerging musicians arrives on the scene! The Momentum Music Fund, administered by Arts Council England and PRS For Music Foundation, is a pit of £500,000 to be used as investment for promising new bands and artists.

The money will be distributed in smaller grants ranging from £5,000 to £15,000 to around 50 to 75 emerging acts during the next 2 years to aid their overall development.
