Band submissions open for Leeds Festival

The annual FutureSound competition is open to pluck the best emerging acts from West Yorkshire to play at this year's Leeds Festival in August. The competition takes the form of a battle of the bands with judges whittling down the entrants to 6 winners, with an overall winner who will open the NME/Radio 1 stage at the festival. The other 5 bands will strut their stuff on the BBC Introducing stage.
