BBC Three call out to talented musicians for new show
News: 13th May 2013 by Louise Dodgson under Artist Managers, Media
BBC Three are currently working on a new music-based series taking a group of young talented musicians (aged 16-24), whose interests and playing style may lie in Hip Hop, Indie, Rock, RnB, Folk, Ska, Indie, Rock, Pop or Jazz. Working with Fazer (ex N-Dubz) and members of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, they’ll be exposed to a world of Classical music and apply their musical talents to a Classical piece. The group will then get the chance to perform this piece with the full orchestra at the BBC Proms!
So as you can see it is a big-scale idea and could be an amazing opportunity for talented artists to apply their passion and talent to a whole new genre of music.
This is the criteria for the young musicians:
- Aged between 16-24 (Any race or sex)
- Can play an instrument to a high level (Particularly the trombone, trumpet, fiddle or violin)
- Interest and passion for any genre of music (NOT Classical music)
- Not from a privileged/affluent background
If you think you fit the above criteria and have got what it takes, then email [email protected] with links to your music.
