MUSIC FUTURES NETWORK: CROWDFUNDING

Crowdfunding is a rapidly emerging approach to raise finance for an artist’s release. Through crowdfunding, an artist can not only retain all creative control and income, but can also intimately connect with fans.
 
2012 seen a surge in artists successfully managing and funding their releases through this unique method. At this special networking event delivered by Generator, you will hear first-hand accounts from individuals (including Tom Williams of Tom Williams & The Boat) who have successfully launched albums, films and games by embracing crowdfunding platforms.
 
Following panel discussion, there will be a chance to network with like-minded from not only music businesses, but from the film and game industries afterwards, who may wish to create new partnerships or make new contacts. Be sure to book your place as spaces are limited.
 
Guest speakers will discuss what went right and wrong in their campaign. What they’d do differently next time, if indeed if they would they do it all again.
