MU campaign for fair pay for musicians

News: 19th November 2012 by Louise Dodgson under Finance, Law & Music Business, Live

The Musicians' Union are taking action against musicians regularly getting the short straw when it comes to being financially recompensed for what they do. The organisation is taking a stand and has launched their Work Not Play campaign which aims to ensure professional musicians are paid fairly. And quite right too!

Check out the Work Not Play website below and get involved to spread the word. You can share tales and anecdotes of instances when you haven't been fairly paid or treated and the site has a dedicated Name & Shame area where you can keep updated on news of companies who have a cheeky approach when it comes to employing musicians and give them a wide berth.
