Emerging Icons hits the road with Demo Drop

Emerging Icons are giving 3 of the hottest names on the unsigned scene a fantastic opportunity to showcase their music to the nation. Auction For The Promise Club, Annaca and Tankus The Henge are set to perform 5 UK dates in what is the latest initiative from ‘the music industry social network that gives back’.

A new sister site to Unsigned Band Review, Emerging Icons has made its name by providing top industry feedback, radio exposure, gigs, festival slots, and exposure to the biggest platforms out there for new exciting undiscovered talent. With a supportive team of industry professionals including Absolute Radio DJs, Universal A&R’s and journalists from The Times and The Telegraph; emergingicons.com has become an invaluable resource for new talent.

Following a successful summer which saw Emerging Icons acts gain exposure on an Olympic Park Stage, BBC News, The Telegraph, The Huffington Post, Absolute Radio and Student Radio; a partnership with a prolific company like V Festival promoters Metropolis seemed a natural step to take. The acts involved represent different genres, sounds and styles but they are all exceptionally gifted musicians and incredible live performers. As some of the top acts discovered on the website, they all made triumphant appearances at the Olympic Park, have been championed by superstar guest reviewers and all featured on albums released on Universal distribution.

In addition to showcasing these promising acts to the country, Emerging Icons are also launching a ‘Demo Drop’ campaign, a nationwide search for new talent in need of industry exposure. Artists signed up to the site can bring along a CD to any one of the shows and be guaranteed a review from one of the industry professionals on www.unsignedbandreview.com. As Emerging Icons are also currently searching for new acts to release through Universal and potentially go on tour, this is surely an opportunity that will be far too good to miss.

Bands that come along with a CD to submit will also have the opportunity to have a short, filmed interview with the Emerging Icons team.
